Despite being labeled the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, authorities have given so little information about suspected shooter Stephen Paddock and his motive that many are growing suspicious. However, now that a former FBI Counter-Terrorism expert has come forward with a game-changing revelation, many just had their worst fear confirmed.
When an individual slaughters civilians in a deadly attack, media outlets typically know everything from their political leanings to their shoe size within hours of the attack. Incredibly, days after 59 are dead and more than 500 are wounded, Americans are still left with questions about suspect Stephen Paddock, his motivation, and even basic details of the shooting.
In fact, authorities have been eerily suggesting that Paddock had virtually no political, religious, or ideological opinions as nearly every aspect of his life has seemingly vanished. Disturbingly, a former FBI agent has come forward with chilling evidence that purports not only the shooter’s motive but a rabbit trail that leads all the way to the top of the federal organization.
Former FBI Counter-Terror expert John Guandolo has broken the silence to reveal that he suspects not only that Paddock was indeed a stealth jihadist for the Islamic State but also that the FBI is covering up vital information about the terrorist nature of the shooting as they’ve done before.
In an article published on Understanding The Threat, Guandolo asserts that the FBI is wrong about their assumption that Paddock held no terrorist ties, listing 5 points that were the basis for concluding that the Las Vegas attack was a jihadist operation. He also provided instances in which the FBI monitored jihadists before they carried out terror attacks and even tried to cover up their knowledge of and involvement in such instances.
The following were the basis for that assessment:
The Islamic State has previously called for attacks on the U.S. homeland and has specifically mentioned Las Vegas, Nevada as a target.
The Islamic State issued a statement last week through one of it’s information outlets Nasher News calling for muslims to avoid places in America (and elsewhere) where “Crusaders” gather and have mentioned major events as good targets.
In recent days, jihadis have launched attacks in Europe.
The target of the attack.
The method and execution of the attack.
Guandolo reminds readers that although many are writing off the terrorist group’s announcement that Paddock was one of their “soldiers,” ISIS has never claimed responsibility for an attack that they did not facilitate. In fact, the idea that ISIS frivolously claims unrelated attacks as their own is a myth as they have refuted involvement in major attacks in which they took no part.
Guandolo also insisted that the fact that the FBI has found “no evidence” that Paddock has ties to any “terrorist organizations” is actually evidence that he is likely involved with such groups. He reiterates, “The FBI has been wrong on every single attack of this nature over the last 8 years,” confirming that each time they’ve concluded that a suspect held no terrorist ties, they were involved in jihad operations.
He added that the FBI had investigations on and interviewed almost every jihadist who ended up carrying out deadly terrorist attacks in Orlando, San Bernardino, Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, Little Rock, and other cities. Additionally, Guandolo offered specific examples of the FBI refuting confirmed terrorist motivations, including the government calling the Fort Hood massacre and Oklahoma beheading examples of “workplace violence.”
Guandolo charged that the FBI may have even had intel on Paddock and his possible terrorist affiliation long before the attack. He referred to information his organization presented to law enforcement that was ignored months prior to the attempted terror attack on a free speech event in Garland, Texas.
“UTT reminds the public that on numerous occasions we have identified threats inside communities that later produced jihadis who initiated attacks inside the United States. One such case involves the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix (ICCP), which UTT included in several presentations given to law enforcement in Arizona beginning in September 2014. UTT briefed law enforcement and local leaders that the center and its leaders are a danger to the community,” Guandolo wrote. “On May 3, 2015, two muslim jihadis from the ICCP went to Garland, Texas to kill people at the Draw Mohammad contest. Fortunately, the jihadis were killed by police before they could harm innocent non-muslims.”
Even more disturbing is that it has since been confirmed that the FBI knew that jihadists planned to kill American civilians at the Garland event and actually enabled and assisted the attackers to commit jihad. In fact, it is for this exact reason that the heroic security guard who was injured by gunfire while thwarting the jihadists is suing the FBI for their involvement.
“The security guard wounded in a 2015 ISIS-inspired terrorist attack at the ‘Draw Muhammad’ event in Garland, Texas, is suing the FBI, and argues the bureau is liable for his damages because an agent ‘solicited, encouraged, directed and aided members of ISIS in planning and carrying out the May 3 attack,’ according to court documents filed Monday,” the Washington Examiner reported on October 1.
Security guard Bruce Joiner has also accused former FBI Director James Comey of facilitating a “post-attack cover-up” by lying about the bureau’s knowledge and involvement.
“The FBI helped the terrorists obtain a weapon that was used in the attack by lifting a hold during a background check, incited the terrorist to attack the Garland event, and even sent an agent to accompany the terrorists as they carried out the attack,” the court filing said.
The FBI has repeatedly failed in their duties to protect the American people and identify the enemy. Instead, the allow horrific attacks to occur with their knowledge and offer a politically correct approach that only further endangers U.S. citizens. Although they have once again purported that the mass shooting in Las Vegas wasn’t a terror attack, the details simply don’t add up. However, one truth stands — the FBI has lost all credibility by repeatedly aiding our enemies.
