In Cerritos, Calfornia, Black Lives Matter activist teachers are under fire after they duct taped student’s hands and put them in a dark closet. The liberals are rushing to the defense of the teachers’ actions, and the liberal principal of the school is begging for peace and tolerance as angry parents are learning the truth. You’ll love how one mom takes them on as they get slapped hard after trying to dismiss their abuse, claiming it’s all a misunderstanding.
Principal John Briquelet is frantically defending what he is now claiming to be a “history activity” on slavery. Briquelet allowed history teachers to duct tape students’ hands and wrists at Whitney High School in Cerritos, California, before putting them in a dark closet. Cerritos is a wealthy suburb of Los Angeles, where the median price of a home is $700,000. Caucasians and Asians make up over 75% of the population.
Of course, the liberal losers over at the Huffington Post immediately came to Briquelet’s defense, reporting, “What is the right way to teach kids about the American slave trade? And when should a parent have a say?” I’d say most parents would agree that duct taping their kid’s wrists and putting them in a dark closet is off limits – all the time.
One African-American mother named Sharde Carrington decided the whole thing was wrong. “According to Carrington, a teacher sent an email on Sept. 5 with the subject heading ‘Unique Learning Experience‘ to inform parents of an upcoming exercise that would supposedly expose students to the horrors of slavery. The lesson would involve the teachers acting as ‘slave ship captains’ and students as slaves,” further reports Huffington Post.
“Specifically, when class starts,” the email reads, “we will sternly tell them to line up outside the classroom, use masking tape to ‘tie’ their wrists together, make them lay on the ground inside the room (which will be dark) shoulder to shoulder with each other (boys and girls are in separate rows), and then while they lay there, have them watch a clip from ‘Roots.’”
Carrington, whose son is in the 8th grade at Whitney, also reported that the students would not be informed beforehand what was going to happen to create an element of “surprise.” Now, Ms. Carrington is taking her outrage to the people. She posted her anger over the situation on Facebook and asked others to join in. She is calling out Principal John Briquelet, writing, “He mansplained the ‘activity’ to me, while failing to address critical points in my argument. He basically told me he thinks it’s great and will continue the [so-called] activity.”
Another outraged parent, Monica Beauchamp, addressed the idiot teens who are brainwashed by the Antifa and BLM movements and supported the crazy duct tape activity. She responded to them, writing, “I gotta say, you Whitney kids who wildly support this ridiculous educational slavery role-play, really need to up your game. Your tone and arguments are childish. It’s hilarious. If any of you manage to get out of CA for college, your pampered bubbles will burst. I dare you…apply to the east coast. Just surviving winter will leave destroy most of you.”
I grew up in Cerritos and know one thing for sure, this isn’t the heart of the liberal-wing of the California Democratic Party. Cerritos borders heavily Republican Orange County. You aren’t going to find much love for a Black Lives Matter-type mentality there, even among the African-Americans, like Sharde Carrington. The principal and his history teachers might want to back off of this “exercise,” which can be classified as false imprisonment. This isn’t how we teach kids compassion, but nutjob liberals haven’t taught anybody anything, ever. Rules don’t apply to them, and laws are always meant to be broken.
