It’s important to take care of your health. You’ll feel better, live longer, and enjoy more of each day. The best part is that it doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive! Here are the steps I take every day to keep myself healthy:
Nutrition
As you can see, this is a very broad topic. But there are some basic principles that you should follow if you want to improve your health. These include:
• Eat a variety of foods
• Choose foods low in fat (for example, lean meats), sugar and salt
• Eat more fruit and vegetables
• Limit alcohol intake if possible
You should also eat breakfast every day as it will give your body the energy needed throughout the day. Eating at least five portions of fruit and veg per day is also important as they contain essential nutrients such as vitamins which help boost immunity against disease such as cancer or heart disease.
Exercise
Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your health, according to Dr Lauren Papa. It helps you sleep better, reduce stress, improve your mood and make you feel happier. It also helps to live longer and maintain a healthy weight.
The benefits of exercise are well known but it can be hard to get started if you haven’t been active for a while or have never exercised before at all! The good news is that there are lots of ways to get moving more often in small amounts throughout the day – even if it’s just walking around the block twice instead of driving everywhere!
Stress Management
Stress occurs when we perceive a situation as threatening, which triggers our body’s stress response system (also known as the fight-or-flight response). When this happens, adrenaline is released into the bloodstream and increases heart rate and blood pressure while preparing us to either fight or flee from danger.
