3 Kentucky Thugs Get Instant Justice After Beating Elderly Victim Who Wasn’t Ready To Die

An elderly Kentucky man was horrified when three drug-addicted thugs broke into his home and violently beat him before taking his money. Now, the story has gone viral after the punks received a dose of brutal instant justice from their victim, who wasn’t ready to die, and rightfully so.

According to local news source WKRN, the shocking home invasion took place at approximately 9 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017, in Boaz, Kentucky. Police said that 46-year-old Timothy Roper of Mayfield and two accomplices broke into an elderly man’s home before assaulting and robbing him.

One of the accomplices, who’s been identified as Miranda Murphy, is the girlfriend of Roper. Well, she was his girlfriend until the fed-up elderly man got a hold of his gun.

Kentucky State Police said that the homeowner, in fear for his life, shot Roper in the upper torso. What a twist for the three drug-addicted thugs who thought they were going to victimize an innocent man and take off with his money after beating him. They could not have been more wrong, and it was time for the elderly victim to have his revenge.

According to local news source WPSD, Roper drove himself to Jackson Purchase Medical Center, where he was later declared dead as a doornail in the emergency room. I imagine that last drive in his car was not a very pleasant one as he bled out and likely thought of the grandchildren he’d be leaving behind.

He should have just said no to drugs, got a job, and quit stealing. Instead, Roper sealed his own fate by hurting an innocent man. Roper’s Facebook page shows that he was in a relationship with Murphy.

It’s shocking that people can’t find it in their hearts to change their lifestyle even to care for their children or grandchildren. That appears to be the case with Roper. Hopefully, those kids are taken care of by family members who will raise them better.

Murphy and the third accomplice, identified by police as Joshua White, were arrested on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Both have been charged with complicity to commit first-degree burglary and complicity to commit first-degree robbery. Murphy, who was in possession of methamphetamine, was also charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Is it just me or does Roper have an eerie vacuous look in his eyes? I’d say Murphy fell for the wrong guy this time. Now, she is going to spend a considerable amount of time in jail for allowing her love to outweigh her better judgment. However, it appears the two may have been made for each other. Birds of a feather flock together, after all.

Murphy’s Facebook page is littered with posts about drug abuse. In one particular post, she calls drug and alcohol abuse “the abyss.” I’d say that description is accurate. It’s too bad Murphy’s awareness of “the abyss” didn’t keep her from jumping into it head first.

Joshua White, the third suspect who was arrested by Kentucky State Police, is Timothy Roper’s son, according to his Facebook page. It would appear that crime runs in the family. Let’s hope that after White serves his time in jail that he raises his own son better than Roper raised him.

Once again, the 2nd Amendment comes through for an innocent victim in Boaz, Kentucky. The elderly homeowner is alive because he knew that his personal safety is primarily his own responsibility. Every week, innocent people are killed in their homes by intruders who would have only been deterred by one thing — a gun.

As liberals scream for more gun control after the horrific mass murder in Texas, stories like this one remind us that law-abiding citizens are all too often forced to kill violent criminals in order to survive.
