VIDEO: Suspect Punches Female Officer In The Face – Officer Opens Can Of Whoop Ass

Old Bridge, NJ – A fight between a 21-year-old woman and a female police officer was captured on camera as witnesses recorded the incident (video below.)

The incident occurred Tuesday on the side of Route 516 when Officer Ronia Walrond stopped Francesca Minickene for speeding.

Officer Walrond ran a records check on Minickene’s license, and it came back as being suspended. Driving on a suspended license is a criminal violation.

The officer asked Minickene to step out of her car and she refused.

“She began getting upset, saying her license was not suspended. Francesca raised her voice, at which point she was advised she was under arrest,” Capt. Steve Daroci told Patch.

“A struggle ensued and the girl punched the officer in her chin.”

Robert Rokicki witnessed the altercation and asked Officer Walrond if she needed help; the officer declined. Rokicki then set up in his car to record the incident.

“I never saw who threw the first punch. It just looked like a fight. I thought it was a big guy beating up a little girl cop at first,” he told Patch.

“When I pulled up, I was gonna help the cop. She said, ‘No, no, I have people coming, stay out of it.’ Then the girl got out and really started beating up the cop pretty good. I’m not a big fan of the cops around here, but this cop showed great restraint. This girl was really close to her and really hurting her. But she never grabbed her gun or her baton.”

After an exchange of blows, Minickene sat back in her car and the petite officer had no way to move such an enormous weight.

When backup officer arrived, Francesca Minickene finally exited the vehicle and was taken to the ground. She is being charged with careless driving, driving while suspended, having an expired license, assault on a police officer, making terroristic threats, obstruction of the law, and resisting arrest.
