Raiders Quarterback Refuses To Join National Anthem Protest, Racist Teammates Make Him Pay

Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who is known by his teammates for being a strong Christian and patriotic American, is seeing the ugly underbelly of the prejudice now shown to players who won’t join the national anthem protests. Shocking allegations now hang over the Raiders organization as the wife of another NFL player says that Carr’s offensive line made him pay for not kneeling.

According to the Daily Caller, Miko Grimes, the wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes, dropped a shocking truth bomb on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, claiming that the Raiders offensive line hatched a plan to deliver a nasty surprise to their quarterback after emerging onto the field following an argument in the locker room.

Miko emphatically stated that the Raiders offensive line didn’t block for Carr with the intentions of letting him get hurt by a defensive player. Miko made her startling revelation during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club,” where she even went as far as to say that Carr’s views on faith and patriotism have led to several locker room fights.

“A lot of people don’t know, but the reason Derek Carr got injured was because the Raiders offensive line allowed him to get injured,” Miko claimed.

Miko’s allegations aren’t without merit. After watching a clip of the game filmed from Sunday, October 1, 2017, in which the Raiders are playing the Denver Broncos, at least one of Carr’s offensive lineman blatantly lets a defensive player go by him untouched.

Take a look at the video below and see for yourself why Miko is raising the alarm on behalf of the Raiders patriotic quarterback.

In the clip, which was uploaded to YouTube, Raiders offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse, who wears jersey number 73, is seen third from the top, on the line. The video doesn’t lie, and Miko seems to have a valid claim. Newhouse appears to play patty-cake for a brief second with the defensive lineman, then steps aside to let him through to the quarterback.

Only a couple of the Raiders offensive lineman actually held their blocks for the duration of the play in the clip. Carr took a horrible twist on the play and was injured badly. According to SBNation, that injury would cost Carr 4-6 weeks of the season.

In the clip below, posted to Twitter by Revolt TV, Miko spills the beans on the Raiders offensive line.

This is definitely not the kind of publicity the Raiders or the NFL wants flying around the internet, but nevertheless, Miko is adamant that Carr suffered his back injury as a result of retaliation from some of his racist teammates.

The least the Raiders organization could do on Carr’s behalf is investigate these players and punish those who are found responsible for retaliating against their quarterback.

As many American patriots continue to boycott the NFL altogether, don’t you think it’s time for the league to start showing a little character? Carr is just as entitled to his beliefs and opinions as anyone else. If the allegations being made by Miko are true, then there should be a harsh punishment for players misconduct on the field.
