Ageing didn’t stop Queen Elizabeth II from doing what she always did- riding horses! Since ever this has been one of her greatest love, her hobby and everyday practice. Even her knee problem wasn’t an obstacle for her to have a horse ride as usual. This 90-year-old woman is unstoppable when it comes to horses.
In the following video you can see the Queen having a ride at Windsor with her dearest pony. Her last ride has been in November, so we must say that it took her a long time to get back to her horses. Then she rode her loving Carltonlima Emma in the company with her faithful groom, Terry Pendry.
According to what she said in the documentary that has been filmed, she has always been a fair-weather rider. So, she doesn’t like the rain or the cold weather! Though, we can see her from time to time on her horse, she doesn’t ride as she used to. The royal watchers said that she wants to be discrete and stays in private places spending quit times.
Her health is in great condition, but she has some serious problem with her knee. She refused to have a surgery, because that will stop her from attending royal events for 6 weeks!
