Fox News Sports Host Goes Insane on the American Flag… Watch What He Said About It Live [VIDEO]

Speaking of drama, Fox Sports co-host Shannon Sharpe had a slight meltdown live, as the NFL protests subject came up. Namely, Shannon lost it after discussing football players who decided to proceed with the protests during“The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Sharpe, in a very nasty fashion, debated the flag, saying it is nothing but a “piece of cloth” that “nobody fights for.”

Sharpe, who used to play for the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, discussed symbols of patriotism and defining what that meant to him.

It is obvious, he sounded nothing but clueless.

“[Y]ou keep telling me that the flag means so much and it’s opportunity and freedom and liberty. OK. Can you honestly say that everybody in America has freedom and liberties and opportunity,” he asked.

But, he was only warming up and went even deeper into the issue,

“[W]e know what the anthem was originally written for and who it was written by, OK?” he said.

“When did this narrative come to be that the military and the police own the flag and only them?” he continued. “I can go buy a flag and I can hang it up in my backyard. We need to stop this, Skip … the flag is a piece of cloth and nobody fights for a piece of cloth.”

Running your mouth too much, aren’t you Mr. Sharpe?

The flag has never belonged to the blue collars alone or the military for that matter, but these men and women are the all-American heroes who sacrifice their lives on daily basis, so why not acknowledge them as patriots? Sharpe is obviously delusional and needs some straightening up ASAP.

Get a glimpse of the video below, but keep in mind the contents are highly raunchy:

Sharpe must have suffered a brain freeze recently, as he clearly doesn’t understand what the heck he is talking about.

However, we are perfectly aware of how things run in this country, so if he needs any reassurance, we’ll be glad to help out.
